About the Job
One of our partner facilities in California is looking to hire a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (Clinician – PT).
Responsibilities:
- Provide applicable physical therapy care for patients under supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
- Clean and prepare treatment areas and equipment following OSHA guidelines.
- Implement treatment programs directed by a Licensed Physical Therapist, communicate updates clearly, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain open and positive communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Effective team member with strong organizational skills.
- Active listening and comprehension skills.
- Effective time management and planning abilities.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of physical therapist assistant or physical therapist education program accredited by CAPTE.
- License to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
- At least 6 months of Physical Therapy Assistant experience.
- Active CPR Certification.
