Physical Therapist Assistant - Crozer Keystone Health System

The Physical Therapy Assistant assists the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment programs according to the plan of care, training patients in therapeutic exercise, transfers, and gait training. The PTA may conduct treatments using adaptive equipment and assistive devices. PTA's work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in house.

The PTA performs duties in support of Crozer Healths' mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner.

Age range of patient population: Adults, Geriatric Geriopsych Acute Care

This position may indirectly supervise students.

This position must fulfill a one weekend day shift per month.

Education and Training:

Associate Degree in Applied Science, Physical Therapist Assistant or new graduate.

Registration, Licensure and/or Certification:

Driver's license.

State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Skills:

Good interpersonal skills.
