The role of the physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist is key in the growth and quality of care a patient receives. You will work collaboratively with the primary care physicians, advanced practice clinicians, physical and occupational therapists to enhance each patient's stay, by setting realistic goals to help patients return to their prior level of function and get back to living their best quality of life.
This facility is a 60-bed inpatient rehab facility specializing in neurological rehab, stroke rehab, orthopedic rehab and spinal cord rehab. Job responsibilities include:

- Patient rounding
- Conducting consultation visits on complicated rehab patients and working with the facility on mentoring support staff on PM&R services and providing a high standard of care
- Diagnose patient conditions and implement appropriate treatment and care plans
- Collaborate with APCs to deliver high quality rehabilitation care
- Build and maintain productive, mutually beneficial relationships with our patients and facility partners
