About the Job
- PHP Developer will interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements
- Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components
- Complete complex bug fixes
- Work closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs
- Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
- As a PHP Developer, you will operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders
- Resolve complex technical issues as necessary
- Keep abreast of new technology developments
- Design and work with complex data models
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BS degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience is required
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience in PHP
- 3+ years of experience in Laravel framework or similar MVC frameworks
- 3+ years of experience in Angular 2+
- 2+ years of experience in MySQL
- Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Strong knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems
- Strong knowledge in industry best practices in development
- Knowledge in using and developing applicable tool sets
- Knowledge of test-driven development
- Expertise in development languages including but not limited to: PHP, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, MySQL, UNIX
- Expertise in Cloud technology (Microsoft Azure or similar)
- Strong understanding of normalized/dimensional data modelling principles
- Strong proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques
- Strong research skills
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Ability to interface competently with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements
- Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources
- Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components
- Ability to complete complex bug fixes
- Microsoft Azure experience is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
