About the Job
A large regional medical group is looking to add a Certified LPN to their Phone Triage team. The ideal candidate will provide courteous and professional service when answering and directing calls, maintain patient confidentiality, and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' medical needs
- Submit medication refills
- Updating patient demographics
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with phone system, office equipment, and relevant software
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and lift/carry up to 20 pounds
Note: This job does not require direct patient care and has no exposure to blood or body fluids.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Licensed Practical Nurse Certification from an accredited school of practical nursing
