Job Details
This position is an in-office, fully on-site customer service role. It involves technical knowledge of field service support as it relates to mechanical/electrical CNC machinery.
Responsibilities:
Provide equipment troubleshooting and support to customers and Field Service Engineers via telephone and/or visual/virtual service.
Assist in part identification for customers, distributors, and other internal teams.
Maintain service ticket tracker with accurate and timely data.
Assess customer situations to determine necessary on-site resources.
Contribute to technical bulletins and internal knowledge base.
Collaborate effectively with customers and team members.
Interpret and utilize engineering drawings.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; two-year technical training preferred.
Background in machinery or industrial equipment industry.
Proficient in reading bills of material, schematics, and assembly drawings.
Competent in mechanical and electrical assemblies.
Familiar with Windows operating systems.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Exceptional telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
Ability to multi-task and maintain a calm demeanor.
Adherence to office etiquette and protocol.
