Phlebotomist Job Description:
We are seeking a traveling phlebotomist to support a study focused on helping firefighters eat better and prevent cancer. This role involves conducting phlebotomy and anthropometric measurements at the San Francisco Fire Division of Training, primarily during morning hours. The schedule is flexible.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct phlebotomy (blood draws) on study participants.
Perform anthropometric measurements (height, weight, blood pressure)
Travel to the San Francisco Fire Division of Training.
Ensure accurate data collection and recording.
Maintain a flexible schedule to meet study requirements.

Requirements:
Certified phlebotomist with experience in blood draws.
Proficiency in taking anthropometric measurements.
Ability to work flexible hours, mainly in the mornings.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Reliable transportation to the San Francisco Fire Division of Training.
Hours may be 10-20 per week but could vary and may be discussed during interview.

Requirements:
Certification and Experience: Ensure the phlebotomist is certified and has significant experience in drawing blood, especially in a mobile or field setting.
Flexible Scheduling and Reliability: The phlebotomist should be available to work on a flexible schedule to accommodate the unique hours of firefighters. Reliability and punctuality are crucial to ensure timely sample collection.
Strong Interpersonal Skills: The phlebotomist should have excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor to interact effectively with firefighters. They should be able to work independently, with a friendly and patient approach, to make participants comfortable during the blood draw process.
