Work Type: Onsite, Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm, Rotating Saturdays
Job Description:
Are you a compassionate and skilled phlebotomist looking to make a difference in patient care?
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II to join our team. As a PSR II, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction: Greet and interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
Phlebotomy: Perform accurate and efficient blood draws, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
Specimen Processing: Prepare and label blood specimens for laboratory testing.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Quality Assurance: Adhere to quality control procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
Phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
3+ years of phlebotomy experience.
2+ years of experience in a patient service center environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
