Role Overview:
Reporting to the Office Manager, you'll be an integral part of our patient care team, collaborating closely with providers and administrative staff. Your responsibilities will include performing venipuncture and other clinical support services with the highest quality standards, ensuring a personalized and calming experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide best-in-class venipuncture services across all age groups
Perform and assist with various clinical duties including non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, and vaccinations
Maintain office standards through proper specimen handling, inventory management, and equipment sterilization
Support patient care beyond the lab by handling messages, lab cases, and assisting with clerical duties
Master our technology suite to effectively communicate with team members and complete daily tasks
Requirements:
Graduated from a postsecondary Medical Assistant program or completed relevant training
Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience
Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer technology
Experience working in diverse, collaborative teams
Ability to provide individualized, customer-focused care with confidence and trust
Phlebotomy certification preferred
Experience with extended scope care preferred

This is a full-time role based in Tempe, AZ, with 8-hour shifts generally between 7:00am-6:30pm, Monday to Friday.
