PhD Biologist requires
Experiences with human iPSCs and iPSC-derived cells strongly preferred.
Passion, knowledge and experience in neuroscience or rare disease research.
PhD Biologist duties;
Develop, optimize, and characterize in vitro models for neurodegenerative diseases
Support development of disease phenotype-specific molecular and functional assays in disease-relevant cell types -
Collaborate with the team to carry out gene editing in iPSC-derived cells to modify disease-causing genes
Provide critical insights and assessments on cutting-edge technologies (e.g. gene editing, delivery). Identify and liaise with potential partners, collaborators and thought leaders. -
Maintain records of protocols, reagents, and experimental results in an Electronic Laboratory Notebook
