Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician will support high-quality pharmacy services by performing various paraprofessional tasks. This position requires working 2 weekends a month, including holiday rotations, with flexible day/evening shifts.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• IV certification (within 90 days of hire)
• Registered technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy or current Pharmacy Intern License
• 1 year of Pharmacy experience; hospital experience preferred
• Computer skills preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and patient privacy

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and assist at the front window
• Compound products in IV Lab using sterile techniques
• Maintain inventory and drug storage systems
• Deliver and pick up medications from nursing units
• Process medications for final dispensing
• Train new employees as assigned
