Description
Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist our
PRN Pharmacy Technician
procures, prepares, packages, and distributes prescription drugs and pharmaceutical supplies. + Maintains IV records and patient profiles and manufactures and prepares sterile products. + Performs other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + Individuals with experience and not certified may be hired contingent on achieving certification within one year of employment. + Certification must be maintained through continuing education requirements for continued employment. + Certification as a pharmacy technician by completion of an accredited technician training program, by national exam, or current enrollment in an accredited College of Pharmacy. + Demonstrates mathematical skills required to calculate and prepare dilutions, reconstitutions and compounded products.
