Overview:
Required Qualifications:
Supports the mission of the department by ensuing that the right patients/resident receives the right medication in a safe and timely manner under the direct supervision of a clinical pharmacist. Develops a full understanding of the drug distribution system and demonstrates competency in carrying out all duties associated with delivering medications to the patient care units.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Technician trainee must prepare to take MA Board of Pharmacy competency exam after completing at least 500 hours of training, but not more than 1,000 hours of training. Must pass with a score of 75% and fulfilling all requirements to become a registered technician set forth by the MA Board of Pharmacy.
Required Training
- Successful completion of departmental orientation & training.
