About the Job
- Answer calls from 4 states from customer communities such as Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facilities
- Answer calls from community residents, family members, physicians, hospice providers, and internal Consonus team members to help get medications to our residents accurately and timely
- Answer all phone calls ensuring that security and confidentiality are maintained for all customers
- Establish positive relationships with both internal and external customers
- Proactive approach to customer concerns and the ability to seek assistance or escalate to Supervisor/Manager as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers at all times
- Utilize all current and necessary policy and procedures
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
- Current Pharmacy Technician Licensure required by agreed employment start date
- Ability to multi-task numerous time sensitive calls
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work overnight shift and some weekends to meet department needs
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent Customer Service skills and desire to help others and work in a team environment
- Knowledge of pharmacy operating systems and terminology preferred but not required
- Pro-Active Problem solving skills
- Experience in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing Facility preferred but not required
- Experience working in healthcare setting with direct patient contact preferred but not required
- Excellent phone handling skills and professional phone etiquette
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Physically able to sit, talk, hear for extended periods throughout the work day; stand, walk, push/pull, and reach on a regular to seldom basis. Repetitive hand motions on a frequent basis including fingering, grasping and handling. Ability to read handwritten and typed documents on paper and/or on computer screens. Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 20 lbs
