We are looking for a Meds-to-Beds Pharmacy Technician to work in our Nampa Medical Center on the Evening (Swing) shift. You will work 4:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m., Monday-Friday

What You Can Expect
Meds-to-Beds Techs fulfill medications for our patients preparing to discharge to be able to take home and eliminating the time wasted going to the pharmacy after discharge.

What You Will Do
- Medication preparation and dispensing: Accurately prepare and dispense medications for patients transitioning from hospital to home
- Insurance and Prior Authorizations: Resolve insurance issues by verifying patient coverage, processing claims, and handling denials
- 340B Program Management: Understand and manage 340B program requirements, ensuring compliance with program regulations and providing medication access for eligible patients
- Coordination with Healthcare Providers: Collaborate with hospital discharge teams and physicians for accurate medication orders and timely deliveries
- Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date records of Meds-to-Beds metrics
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Idaho Pharmacy Technician license
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) + years' retail pharmacy experience
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
