Fairview Pharmacy Services is looking for you to join the largest health system based specialty pharmacy in the nation as a Pharmacy Technician Services Representative 2. This position provides telephone support to pharmacy patients, providers and pharmacies ensuring that patients are eligible for and receive prescribed medications in an accurate and timely manner via appropriate delivery methods. This includes patient tracking, customer service, issue resolution and/or escalation.
This is a full-time, day shift M-F position with one Saturday rotation approximately every three months. It is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Responsibilities Job Description
+ Complete intake process for mail order, specialty, transplant, and limited distribution pharmacy patients including new patient enrollment, insurance verification, and medication refill and delivery schedule.
+ Under the direction of the pharmacist, receive prescription/orders from patients, process manually or using the appropriate computer system and protocols in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all legal, regulatory agency and Fairview requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
Three months pharmacy technician experience
Registered Technician with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy
Completion of an on-the-job (ASHP) accredited pharmacy technician training program within the first year of employment if needed. (We provide this!)
Preferred:
Completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited pharmacy technician training program
One-year pharmacy technician experiecne in a call center environment
