Overview
Halifax Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Pharmacy Department.
Summary
The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, providing medications and IV solutions for patients. This individual must promote positive customer relationships and be an effective Team Member. While prior experience is preferred, Halifax Health also offers a comprehensive Pharmacy Technician training program for those not registered but interested in Pharmacy.
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must either be Registered through the State of Florida as a Pharmacy Technician or complete available Pharmacy Technician training program.
- Must be customer-service oriented and able to effectively communicate and build relationships with Team Members at all levels in the organization.
- Professionalism in interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with colleagues, physicians and ancillary department personnel is required.
