MUST:
Experienced Pharmacy Technician
Must hold an Active Maryland State Pharmacy Technician Certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pharmacy
Admixture experience
Experience preparing chemo IV bags
Compounding experience and ability to do calculations
Must be able to work in a high-paced environment.
Ability to maintain and order inventory
Strong Computer-EMR
DUTIES:
Maintain and order inventory of the medication and other laboratory supplies.
Enter data into the computer system.
Check and verify prescriptions and bring any discrepancies to the attention of the pharmacist
Be able to complete all compounding calculations as required
Check the accuracy of logs, NDC, Lot Numbers, Date and Manufacturer of the medicines
Must be able to finish each compounds accordingly in a timely fashion
