Job description

The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients in an inpatient hospital setting by compounding complex sterile and non-sterile products and participating in the delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical care. This position is eligible for a recruitment bonus. Additional details will be provided during the hiring process should your application be selected to move forward. The starting pay for this position was recently adjusted. The minimum hourly rate for this position will now be $18.50/hour. All pay rates will be based on candidate’s experience. 

Qualifications and Requirements for a Pharmacy Technician 

• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) 

• Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire. 

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree and hospital and/or retail pharmacy technician experience preferred.
