Pharmacy - Pharmacist Inpatient - Seasoned Recruitment

Seasoned Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist for an Inpatient Pharmacy position. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication use within the inpatient setting. You will collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize drug therapy and provide pharmaceutical care to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Review medication orders and prescriptions for inpatients, ensuring accuracy, appropriate dosages, and potential interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize drug therapy and contribute to patient care plans.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services, including order review and verification, medication reconciliation, and pharmacokinetic dosing/monitoring.
• Prepare and dispense medications, including compounding and labeling.
• Provide drug information to healthcare providers and patients.
• Maintain appropriate records and documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure medication safety and effectiveness.
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

Requirements

Requirements:

• PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Pharmacy licensure in the state of practice.
• Prior experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Proficiency in pharmacy software and computer systems.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems preferred.
