As a Pharmacy Material Coordinator, you will procure and maintain pharmaceutical supply inventories, the distribution of stock, updating all systems to ensure prompt payments to vendors, and accurate documentation of inventory management.
A caregiver in this position works day /evening/night/weekend shifts from 12:00 am - 11 :30pm .

A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Ensure continuous supplies are maintained with little or no interruption.
- Implement, manage, and m aintain inventory systems to order, control, e xpedite , and inventory supplies to enhance the fiscal management of the department.
- Monitor reports and available publications for insight into shortages and determine appropriate substitute items.
- Provid e information to technicians while carrying out inventory control function.
- Maintain the proper and appropriate professional and ethical relationship with vendor representatives and conduct business according to established principles and guidelines.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Associate's degree or h igh s chool diploma/GED and three years of experience in a similar role.
- Work history of using a computer.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician ( CPhT ) verified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy is required within 6 months upon hire.

- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
- Ability to travel throughout the hospital system and, in some locations, off-site
- Must have own transportation due to travel to multiple sites.
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
