About the Job
We are looking for a highly motivated pharmacist to join our team.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness and compatibility with current therapy, drug allergies, adverse drug effects, duplication of therapy, compliance to ensure patients’ medication therapy is safe, effective, timely, and free from drug related problems
- Deliver medication and pharmaceutical care such as immunizations, patient consultation, and medication therapy management
- Develop and maintain good work relationships with physicians and other health care professionals in order to facilitate patient care
- Recommend formulary alternatives where appropriate
- Participate in and build such programs as discharge delivery, high-risk patient management, and physician engagement
- Provide direct leadership and management of all pharmacy staff.

- Maximize financial performance and growth in order to stay competitive in today's market.
- Manage quality through inventory control, loss prevention controls/awareness, and staff engagement
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D (preferred) from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the State of Georgia
- 2+ years retail experience; supervisory experience preferred

- Ability to react to frequent changes in duties and volume of work
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities
- Ability to manage fluctuating workflow and lead team
