Pharmacy Assistant Taos Clinic - El Centro Family Health

JOB PURPOSE:

Under the direction and supervision of the Pharmacist or Nurse Director, the Pharmacy Assistant maintains the clinic drug room in compliance with NM State Board of Pharmacy regulations. The Pharmacy Assistant has access to personal data regarding individual patients and/or their families; an essential job result is the maintenance of a high level of confidentiality of the information processed by the employee.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Experience: Min. 2 years in pharmacy or medical setting.

Certification: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS)

(Must be obtained within 3 months of hire).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

1. Tuberculin Skin Test (TST).
2. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS) - obtained within 3 months of hire.
3. Ability to travel to outlying locations.
