Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist Applications Analyst to join our team and help improve healthcare technology workflows by combining pharmacy expertise with IT systems management.

1. Act as a bridge between pharmacy operations and IT systems to enhance workflows and integration.
2. Maintain, support, and troubleshoot Cerner PharmNet, including formulary management, NDC stacking, and medication reconciliation.
3. Configure and manage pharmacy-related applications and interfaces, including Pyxis, Swisslog, and DoseEdge.
4. Monitor drug therapy for safety concerns such as interactions, contraindications, and dosing errors.
5. Provide Level II and Level III support for the Cerner system and ensure continuous functionality.
6. Analyze and improve pharmacy workflows within the EMR system to drive operational and clinical efficiency.
7. Collaborate with providers, department managers, and IT teams to identify and implement system solutions.
8. Train and educate EMR users, supporting clinical transformation through technology.
9. Lead activities across all phases of system implementation, including design, build, integration, and testing.
10. Be available for on-call support to address critical system issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current or previous pharmacist licensure (New York preferred).
• Master's or PhD in Pharmacy required.
• Minimum 1 year in hospital pharmacy or pharmacy residency preferred.
• Experience with Cerner PharmNet and CPOE from a pharmacy perspective is mandatory.
