CompleteRx is hiring a Pharmacist In Charge to join our team at Champion Pharmacy, a retail pharmacy located inside CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico in Alamogordo, NM.

SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm
• Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 4pm

Work Schedule:

This role will provide coverage at the retail pharmacy located inside the hospital during the day shift for weekdays and weekends (rotating work schedule).

What You Will Do

As the Pharmacist In Charge, you will oversee the pharmacy's operations, ensure compliance with regulations and lead a team - all while delivering patient care.

• Ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Interpret drug orders (verbal and written) and transcribe to computerized patient medication profiles accurately.
• Assist with pharmacokinetics consult service and drug dosing per hospital protocol.
• Maintain accurate, complete pharmacy patient medication profiles.
• Complete all assigned medication storage area inspections in a timely manner.
• Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.
• Build and nurture relationships with physicians and nursing.

What You Will Need

Requirements:

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or higher.
• Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of New Mexico.
• One to three (1-3) years of experience as a registered pharmacist.
