Job Summary and Qualifications
What you will do in this role:
- Serves as consultant on medication management oversight of HCA Physician-Owned Clinics to the corporate and division level leadership in Physician Services in regards to the requirements set forth by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy in relation to Non-Dispensing Permits
- Ensures key medication management required by state law are in alignment with clinical and quality initiatives as well as organizational priorities
- Identifies and addresses potential system vulnerabilities Ensures that ongoing operational improvements reflect medication safety best practices and/or address actual and
- Reviews and trends medication related information to identify and resolve potential system vulnerabilities and share with Physician Services Operations and Pharmacy teams
- Provides supporting documentation, “white papers” or other information as needed facilitate implementation of clinical programs, and medication safety/medication use best practices
- Maintains effective communication with division and facility leadership teams
- Facilitates education and other professional activities to pharmacy technicians
- Contributes to a culture of safety. Models optimal behavior and encourages others to participate in safety initiatives
- Performs related work as required.

What qualifications you will need:
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
· Licensed Pharmacist
EDUCATION:
- Pharm.D. or Master’s Degree required
- Residency Training or BCPS certification preferred
EXPERERIENCE:
- 3-5 years’ experience as a clinician
- Clinical pharmacy support and managerial experience preferred
