Job Description:
As a Temporary Hospital Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within our healthcare facility. Responsibilities:

5. Medication Safety: Participate in medication reconciliation processes and identify and report medication errors or adverse drug reactions.
6. Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and ensure compliance with all quality assurance standards.
7. Inventory Management: Monitor medication stock levels, perform inventory checks, and assist with medication procurement as needed.
8. Compliance: Stay up-to-date on state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice and ensure adherence to all relevant guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active pharmacist license in the state of Connecticut.
- Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, pharmacology, and medication therapy management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in pharmacy computer systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
