Length: 1 year contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time depending on business needs and performance
100% onsite ; does not require candidates to be fully vaccinated however, this may change in the near future.
Hours: compressed work schedule, 12 hour shifts working on an alternating schedule of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week; must be able to work both shifts - please do not submit candidates who may only be interested in one shift; must be able to work both shifts.
3 must haves:
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and a Fit for Duty Evaluation will be required prior to reporting and annually which include: Pulmonary Function Test for wearing a respirator, audiogram baseline for wearing hearing protection, physical exam.
- 2+ years mechanical experience in industrial or semiconductor fields
- OR recent 4 year degree graduate looking to start a career in semiconductor field
- OR recently retired/discharged from military
The technician supports equipment and delivery systems throughout the customer site. Technicians will start their assignment by receiving safety and core operational training for the first 2-4 weeks. Once that training is complete, they will join a compressed work shift (12 hour shift) where they will perform core operational duties. Core activities include performing container changes, responding to equipment alarms, and performing basic maintenance of the equipment.
Physical demands of the job include walking (4-6 miles per day), climbing ladders, lifting up to 40 lbs., and bending to perform inspections. All interaction with products onsite require a procedure and PPE. PPE that a technician will wear during the week include: hard hat, safety glasses, chemical apron, chemical gloves, face shield and goggles, and full face respiratory mask that is worm utilizing inline breathing air.
