Pharmaceutical Technician - Batch Mixer / Encapsulation / Coater
Location: South Brunswick NJ

Duration: Direct Hire
Pay: $20-33/hour depending upon experience
Shifts, 2nd shift (2PM -10 PM) or 3rd (10 Pm - 6 AM) M-F
$1.50/hour shift differential for 2nd shift and $2.50/hour for 3rd shift

Pharmaceutical Technician - Batch Mixer / Encapsulation / Coater

Responsibilities:
- Supports and assists in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and batch record specifications.
- Performs the day to day activities of the production process including but not limited to: weighing, blending, filling, encapsulation and/or granulation products, etc.
- Complete documentation accurately
- Willingness to work overtime
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment required
- Solid dose manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience working with mixing, blending, granulation, encapsulation, AFD, FLM, suspension or compression equipment
- Solid communication skills oral and written.
Trainee:
- Will be trained on manufacturing operations
- Is expected to follow all SOPs, Batch records, Safety and DEA requirements
- Is expected to perform tasks as instructed and within the standard time allotted.
Level I:
- Minimum 1 year pharmaceutical manufacturing experience- preferably in compression/encapsulation/coating
Level II:
- Items listed Level 1++
- Cross trained on 2 skills (i.e. AFD, FLM, Suspension, Blending, AFD 450/1000, Compression)
