Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Perform and supervise PET/CT procedures, ensuring the production of high-quality diagnostic images.
- Provide technical assistance and expertise in the operation, calibration, and maintenance of PET/CT equipment.
- Apply your knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals to ensure safe and effective use.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient care and improve manufacturing processes.
- Deliver training to staff on the safe and effective use of PET/CT equipment.
- Participate in research and development activities related to PET/CT technology.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, maintenance activities, and patient interactions.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a PET/CT Technologist or a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
- Must have a valid NJDEP State License.
- Certification as a petrographic technician is required.
- CPR certification is mandatory.
- A degree in medical imaging, radiology, nuclear medicine, or a related field is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of PET/CT technology, including operation, calibration, and maintenance.
- Proficient in the use of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Committed to continuous learning and professional development.
- Able to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Must be compassionate and patient-centered, with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
