What a PET Operations Advisor Contributes to Cardinal Health Nuclear Pharmacy Services
A PET Operations Advisor supports key NPHS (Nuclear & Precision Health Solutions/PET initiatives. They drive a proactive culture of compliance excellence within Cardinal Health, deliver excellent outcomes through strong advocacy, proactive communication, planning with necessary cross functional teams and more.
Preferred location: Fort Lauderdale but willing to consider other locations posted.
Travel for the position is 75-80%
Schedule
40 hours per week. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday with a start time anywhere between the hours of 9:00p -12:00a. Candidate must be flexible to work different days, hours and schedules based on business need.
Anticipated salary range: $65,500 - $93,500
Bonus eligible: no

The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
Responsibilities
- Supports PET manufacturing sites as needed (manufacturing products, quality control, radiation safety program, cGMP program, EH&S, etc.)
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives with quality and regulatory, customer service, culture, and financials
- Supports the training team as needed
- Trouble shoot and corrects issues in SAP
- Trainer for SAP and media fill
- Performs plant maintenance as needed
- Has Purchasing capability and authority
- Handles possible ordering – requires authority
- Performs end of month inventory synchronization
Acts as Technical expert
Conducts onboarding training for new hires
Trains in all products for both Quality Control and production
May act as tech in charge upon PET Site Supervisor or lead tech absence
Participates in projects
Communicates contingency plans with pharmacy and/or other PET sites
Possible Quality Assurance designee
May be radiation safety officer (RSO) and/or EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) leader
Trouble shoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment – send it out for recalibration
Be able to perform minor maintenance on the cyclotron and interpret different error codes

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (scientific or technical discipline), or equivalent work experience preferred
- A minimum of 4+ years related work experience preferred
- Ability to train and coach others from technical expertise
- Prior PET manufacturing site experience required. Sr. Technician level preferred, will consider other technician levels (proficient in all duties and responsibilities)
- Authorized user required
- Media fill qualified
- Ability to travel 75%-80%
- Must have and sustain all core competency skills, maintain all training and qualifications
- Ability to do plant maintenance
- Purchasing capability and authority
- Advanced knowledge in SAP strongly preferred
- May need to be flexible to relocate
