As a Personnel Security Specialist, you will ensure the accuracy and completeness of investigation request documentation and process e-QIP packets for federal and contractor employees. You will manage background investigation paperwork, handle data entry, prepare case files, and liaise with applicants to clarify and gather information. Your work will be pivotal in supporting security clearance processes and maintaining compliance with federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate indices check and collect critical information for investigations.
- Review and analyze investigative reports for compliance and recommend next steps.
- Prepare and submit recommendations for security clearance adjudications.
- Deliver security awareness and threat briefings, updating content as necessary.
- Identify and address security vulnerabilities, ensuring thorough debriefings for sensitive roles.

The Person
- Must have at least a bachelor's degree.
- Must have a top-secret clearance now or in the recent past.
- Have between 3-12 years of experience in the personnel security investigative or investigative analyst field.
- 10 years of experience in Federal, State local or military LE experience.
- Adjudication experience is highly recommended.
- Previous work with the FBI.
- Experience with e-Quips, initiating SF85s,SF86s and knowledge of the OPM is required.
- Retired FBI agents or any Federal Law Enforcement personnel, such as U.S. Marshals, IRS investigators, or Military Investigators.
