Responsibilities

As a Personnel Security Specialist, you will:

• Provide authoritative interpretation and guidance to management officials and other security specialists at the same and lower levels, and resolve issues involving conflicting security requirements.
• Keep abreast of government-wide changes in personnel security, including Trusted Workforce 2.0, to ensure CFPB's compliance with programmatic requirements.
• Perform a wide variety of administrative tasks and functions within the Personnel Security Team to include a high volume of interaction with CFPB employees and contractors who are in the process of undergoing background investigations.
• Assist the Personnel Security Team in developing case files and processing closed investigations.
• Travel Required
