As a Personal Trainer at the YMCA, you'll work one-on-one with clients to design personalized fitness plans that cater to their individual needs and goals. You'll inspire and guide them every step of the way, providing support, accountability, and expert advice. Whether it's building strength, improving flexibility, or reaching new fitness milestones, you'll play a key role in transforming lives through fitness! ️
What You'll Do:
- Create customized fitness plans and lead one-on-one training sessions for clients of all fitness levels.
- Provide ongoing motivation, guidance, and support to help clients reach their fitness goals.
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Ensure a safe and supportive workout environment while promoting the YMCA's values of healthy living, inclusion, and community.
- Build community and facilitate connections among our members and YMCA teams.
- Maintain client records and referrals
What We're Looking For:
- 18 years or older
- A passion for fitness and helping others succeed.
- Certified personal trainer credentials (ACE, NASM, or equivalent).
- Current CPR and First Aid certification from the American Red Cross, ASHI, or the American Heart Association (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire). Online only courses are not accepted.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive environment for all clients.
