Personal Lines Product Analyst (Hybrid) - A-Line Staffing Solutions

Job Description:

As a Personal Lines Product Analyst, you will be an integral member of our Personal Lines Market Management team. Your role will focus on advancing product analytics, enhancing competitive tools, and providing data-driven insights to improve decision-making for Personal Lines Market Managers. By contributing your expertise, you will play a key part in driving the future of Personal Lines, supporting business growth, and improving operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Development & Management: Lead the development of new personal lines products and improve existing ones by recommending changes in product design, pricing, underwriting, distribution, agency management, and claims processes
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze premium rates, loss experience, and retention to ensure goals for profitability and production are met. Monitor changes in the mix of business for assigned states and identify underlying factors
• Market Strategy & Competitive Intelligence: Work alongside marketing teams to create business strategies for profit and growth. Continuously research and assess competitors' market positions, financial stability, and strategic initiatives to identify new opportunities
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Accounting, Actuarial, Claims, Customer Service, and other departments to ensure seamless implementation of rate revisions, new product features, and other initiatives
• Forecasting & Modeling: Apply forecasting and modeling techniques to predict trends and help inform strategic decisions

Qualifications:

• Required Skills:
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to small groups
  • Knowledge of personal lines insurance products and processes
  • Experience with forecasting, modeling, and SQL
  • Familiarity with relational databases
  • Typically requires 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training
• Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Python, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of personal lines and life insurance products
  • Experience with modeling and forecasting
