Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced People Leader to oversee and guide our Personal Lines team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving team performance, ensuring exceptional client service, and leading the strategic growth of personal insurance portfolios. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of personal insurance products, and a passion for team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of personal lines account managers, sales agents, and support staff.
Conduct regular coaching, performance evaluations, and training to ensure the team meets and exceeds individual and collective goals.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging open communication and continuous professional growth.
Client Service Excellence:
Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service to clients, addressing complex inquiries, escalations, and policy servicing.
Oversee the management of personal lines accounts, including auto, homeowners, renters, and umbrella policies, to ensure accuracy and prompt handling.
Lead by example in client interactions, providing guidance on best practices and customer service strategies.
Operational Efficiency:
Implement and improve workflows, processes, and systems to increase operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Manage the team's workload distribution and prioritize tasks to ensure timely policy renewals, endorsements, claims handling, and other service requests.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Collaborate with the sales team to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, driving revenue growth in the personal lines portfolio.
Support team members in achieving individual and department sales goals, providing guidance and tools for success.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adapt and innovate sales strategies.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure all personal lines policies and procedures comply with regulatory standards and company guidelines.
Identify and mitigate potential risks to clients and the business by maintaining a strong focus on underwriting guidelines and risk assessment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in personal lines insurance, with a strong understanding of various products and services (home, auto, renters, etc.).
Minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership or management role within an insurance setting.
Demonstrated success in leading teams to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong knowledge of insurance regulations, risk management, and industry trends.
Proficiency in EPIC a huge plus.
Insurance designations such as CPCU, CISR, or AINS a plus.
Experience in managing high-net-worth personal lines clients a plus.
