The Noyle Johnson Group is an independent agency serving Central Vermont and the New England area with three offices located in Montpelier, Danville and Bethel. Responsibilities:- Endorsement Processing: Collects necessary information, processes endorsements following agency procedures, updates systems for non-download carriers, and generates required activities.
- Underwriting and Renewals: Accurately underwrites policies, remarkets as needed, renews policies per agency standards, and collaborates with producers for client follow-ups.
- Client and Carrier Interaction: Manages all client, carrier, and walk-in communications, ensuring effective handling of inquiries and leveraging opportunities to cross-sell personal lines.
- Cancellations and Retention: Works with insureds and underwriters to prevent cancellations, remarkets policies when required, and processes payments or cancellations accurately.
- Claims Handling: Submits claims, sets up claim files in AMS360, delegates follow-ups appropriately, and identifies coverage gaps to recommend additional insurance.
- File and Task Management: Maintains precise electronic records, processes incoming requests swiftly, and ensures completion of open Suspense items and assigned projects.
- Administrative and Backup Support: Assists with receptionist duties, ensures compliance with credit/collection policies, and takes on additional tasks assigned by management.
- BA/BS preferred; must hold a valid Insurance Producer License or obtain one within six months.
- Proven experience in personal lines account management with strong knowledge of insurance markets, policies, and products; shares expertise with team members.
- Excels in listening, accuracy, and ensuring details are managed effectively.
- Demonstrates strong communication, multitasking, and deadline management abilities with a high sense of urgency.
- Effective at identifying and resolving challenges efficiently.
