Personal Injury Paralegal - Ascendion

We are a growing Law Firm looking to bring on an experienced Paralegal to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, with previous Plaintiff, Personal Injury experience.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up new files
• Acquiring, summarizing and maintaining clients’ medical records
• Managing and maintaining organized case files
• Drafting and reviewing of correspondence
• Recording and storing client information and updates
• Regular phone, email and/or in person contact with clients, medical providers and insurance companies
• All other clerical and/or administrative duties as required

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience
• Previous plaintiff personal injury experience
• Familiarity with the processing of PIP and injury claims
• Experience with requesting medical records
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with little to no oversight
