Position Overview: The firm is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury litigation and a strong understanding of legal procedures, case management, and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases, from intake to resolution.
- Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support cases.
- Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers to obtain necessary information.
- Organize and maintain case files and ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Prepare for hearings, depositions, and trials by assembling relevant materials.
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain a professional demeanor.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or paralegal certificate; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury law.
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana laws and legal procedures.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
