About the Job
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a boutique personal injury law firm who is seeking a bilingual personal injury legal secretary to join our team. This law firm focuses heavily on child abuse cases. The candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a similar role and possess exceptional organizational, communication, and language skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys specializing in plaintiff personal injury law.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Manage and maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments and court dates.
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel in both English and [insert second language].
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
- Handle incoming calls and correspondence in a professional manner.
- Maintain electronic and physical case files in an organized manner.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience as a legal secretary, preferably in plaintiff personal injury law.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks.
