Our esteemed legal firm is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Personal Injury Lawyer to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to represent clients who have experienced personal injuries as a result of accidents or negligence. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in personal injury law, with a keen understanding of the litigation process. If you are a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a desire to make a difference in the lives of those who have experienced personal injury, this could be the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal support and advice to clients who have suffered personal injuries.
- Manage all phases of personal injury and wrongful death litigation cases from discovery, mediation, arbitrations, trials and through appeal.
- Draft pleadings, conduct depositions, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in court to obtain the best possible outcomes.
- Develop and implement case strategy in conjunction with the client's goals.
- Conduct initial case investigation to determine, in the plaintiff’s perspective, if the case is valid.
- Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to share knowledge and ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
- Stay updated with developments in personal injury law and maintain professional growth by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Lawyer or Litigation Attorney.
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the State Bar.
- Proven track record of achieving significant settlements for clients.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret laws and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Strong research and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
- Demonstrated dedication to client service and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- A high degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
