Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience managing personal injury and car accident cases, providing exceptional client service, and supporting attorneys throughout the case lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Oversee personal injury and car accident cases from intake to resolution, ensuring timely and effective progression.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, answering questions, and offering support throughout the case.
- Document Management: Collect, organize, and maintain all case-related documents, including medical records, police reports, and correspondence.
- Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations of car accident cases, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and coordinating with experts.
- Insurance Liaison: Communicate and negotiate with insurance companies to facilitate claims and settlements.
- Legal Support: Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents.
- Scheduling: Coordinate appointments, depositions, and court appearances.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as data entry, file maintenance, and case tracking using legal case management software.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing personal injury cases, with a focus on car accidents.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in legal case management software and office applications.
- Knowledge of personal injury law and insurance processes.
