Responsibilities:
As a Personal Injury Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload from start to finish. You will represent clients who have experienced personal injuries in negotiations and court proceedings.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Handling all aspects of personal injury litigation, including interviewing clients, drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, negotiating settlements, and representing clients at trial.
2. Providing legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations.
3. Develop case strategies based on the facts of the case and the client's goals.
4. Communicating regularly with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases.
5. Coordinating with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to ensure smooth case management.
6. Staying updated on changes in personal injury law and incorporating new legal developments into case strategies.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of personal injury law and litigation procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Specific qualifications include:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. minimum of 8 years of Plaintiff Personal Injury experience with focus in Labor law (construction accident), trip and falls, and motor vehicle practice
4. Proven track record of successfully representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases.
5. Experience conducting depositions and representing clients in court.
6. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to achieve favorable settlements for clients.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines.
10. Commitment to providing outstanding client service.
