Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients who have suffered personal injuries.
- Handle all aspects of personal injury cases, from initial consultation and case evaluation through negotiation, settlement, or trial.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in court, presenting evidence and arguments to achieve the best possible outcome.
- Maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional client service and keeping clients informed about case progress.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
- Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and trends in personal injury law to provide accurate and up-to-date advice and representation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Connecticut Bar.
- 5+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
- Proven track record in negotiations and settlements.
- Experience representing clients in trials.
- Strong professional, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear, practical advice.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Strong client service and client relations skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive, results-focused approach.
