Our law firm is seeking a seasoned Permanent Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic team. This vital role will focus on various aspects of personal injury law, including but not limited to, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and other forms of personal injury. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a busy caseload, working with clients from the initial consultation through the resolution of their case. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney who is ready to take their career to the next level in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients who have suffered personal injuries or wrongful death, ensuring their rights are protected and they receive the compensation they deserve.
2. Manage all aspects of a client's case including intake, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
3. Conduct extensive legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and represent clients in court and negotiation proceedings.
4. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the effective and efficient handling of cases.
5. Maintain professional relationships with clients, keeping them informed and updated on their case progress.
6. Develop case strategies based on the law and the specific circumstances of each client’s case.
7. Comply with all legal standards and regulations, ensuring ethical conduct in all professional activities.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Attorney.
3. Strong experience in handling cases involving wrongful death and medical malpractice.
4. Admission to state bar and in good standing.
5. Proven track record of successfully litigating personal injury cases, including trials.
6. Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
7. Proficient in legal research and writing, with a firm understanding of personal injury law and procedures.
8. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to interact with diverse clients and staff.
9. Ability to manage a large caseload and work independently under tight deadlines.
10. Commitment to adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards.
