This is a permanent position where the successful candidate will play a critical role in representing clients who have experienced personal injuries as a result of negligence or wrongdoing. The attorney will be responsible for managing a high volume of cases from inception through resolution, providing legal counsel to clients, and diligently pursuing justice. This position requires a strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of the legal profession, a passion for client advocacy, and a deep understanding of personal injury law.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, ensuring that each case progresses in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Conduct client intake meetings, providing empathetic and comprehensive legal advice to clients regarding their rights and options.
3. Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
4. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies, utilizing a variety of legal research tools and databases.
5. Represent clients in court hearings, settlement negotiations, and mediations, providing persuasive arguments and advocating for the best interests of the client.
6. Collaborate with paralegals and other legal professionals to prepare for trial, including conducting discovery, preparing witnesses, and developing trial strategies.
7. Utilize case management software and docket management systems to track case progress, manage deadlines, and maintain accurate and organized case files.
8. Stay updated on developments in personal injury law and regulations, ensuring that legal strategies and practices reflect current legal standards.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member of the Texas State Bar in good standing.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
4. Proficiency in using legal software such as PACER, Docket Manager, and case management systems.
5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop innovative legal strategies.
6. Exceptional client-facing skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and deliver excellent client service.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
8. Experience in mass torts is a plus.
9. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
11. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
