We are currently seeking a passionate and highly-skilled Permanent Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of personal injury cases, from inception through resolution. This includes conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court. The ideal candidate is a seasoned litigator with a proven track record of success in personal injury law, who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and is committed to advocating for the rights of individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, ensuring that each case is handled efficiently and effectively.
2. Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
3. Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel, striving to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
5. Represent clients in court, presenting compelling arguments and evidence to support their claims.
6. Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and advising them on legal matters.
7. Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to personal injury law.
8. Collaborate with legal team members and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to case handling.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member in good standing with the BAR.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law, with a strong record of successful case outcomes.
4. Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable settlements for clients.
5. Excellent litigation skills, with the ability to present compelling arguments and evidence in court.
6. Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
7. Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
