Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Handle all aspects of personal injury cases including initial client meetings, case evaluations, and investigations.
2. Conduct thorough legal research and case analysis to prepare for court proceedings.
3. Develop case strategies and present cases in court, ensuring the best possible outcome for clients.
4. Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
5. Negotiate settlements with insurance companies to secure maximum compensation for clients.
6. Conduct depositions of parties and witnesses.
7. Provide sound legal advice to clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases.
8. Collaborate with legal support staff to manage case files and ensure timely completion of tasks.
9. Stay updated on developments in personal injury law and participate in professional development activities.
Qualifications:
1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
4. Proven trial experience and a strong record of successful case settlements.
5. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex issues.
6. Proficient in conducting investigations and legal research.
7. Exceptional legal writing skills and the ability to draft clear, concise, and effective legal documents.
8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
9. Superior organizational and case management skills, with the ability to handle a large caseload and prioritize tasks.
10. Proficient in the use of legal software for case management.
11. A deep commitment to the ethical and professional standards that govern the legal profession.
