Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong research, writing, and communication skills, as well as a passion for advocating on behalf of our clients. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for assisting senior attorneys with case management, legal research, drafting legal documents, and client communication. MUST have experience in Personal Injury/Workers Compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research on various issues and provide analysis to senior attorneys
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts
- Assist with case management, including organizing documents, scheduling hearings, and communicating with clients
- Participate in client meetings, depositions, and court proceedings
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to ensure effective representation of clients
- Stay updated on changes in the law and legal trends relevant to the firm's practice areas
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the NE state bar and in good standing
- 3-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in personal injury/workers compensation
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
