Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Quality Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional care and support to residents in a personal care facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities, including medication administration, personal hygiene, meal preparation, cleaning, and documentation. The Quality Personal Care AFH care giver plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.

The Quality Personal Care AFH care giver plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.
Responsibilities:
First Shift:
- Administer medication to residents following established protocols and guidelines.
- Prepare and serve breakfast for residents according to their dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist residents with dressing and grooming to ensure they are ready for the day.
- Conduct showers on designated shower days, maintaining residents' privacy and dignity.
- Clean and tidy bedrooms, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
- Prepare and serve lunch for residents while adhering to dietary requirements.
- Complete ADL (Activities of Daily Living) forms accurately and comprehensively.
- Review and verify Medication Administration Records to ensure proper medication distribution.
Second Shift:
- Offer residents water and provide snacks as needed throughout the shift.
- Prepare and serve dinner, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist residents with bedtime routines, including changing into appropriate sleepwear.
- Perform light cleaning duties in common areas and resident rooms.
- Complete ADL forms accurately and thoroughly.
- Review and verify Medication Administration Records for accuracy.
Third Shift:
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Handle laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing residents' clothing and linens.
- Assist residents with any immediate needs during the night shift.
- Complete necessary documentation, including ADL forms and Medication Administration Records.
Job Title: CBRF Staff/Caregiver
Responsibilities:
- Personal Care Assistance: Provide support with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed, ensuring proper dosages and timing; monitor residents for side effects and effectiveness.
- Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the appropriate medical personnel, including any issues related to medication.
- Meal Preparation*: Plan and prepare nutritious meals that accommodate dietary needs and preferences.
- Housekeeping Duties: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry and general upkeep of the facility.
- Social Engagement: Facilitate activities and social interactions to enhance residents’ quality of life and promote community involvement.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including medication administration logs and any incidents or changes in residents’ conditions.
- Communication: Foster open communication with residents, families, and other staff members to ensure coordinated care.
- Behavioral Support :Implement individualized plans for residents with behavioral needs, using positive reinforcement techniques and de-escalation strategies as necessary.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to behavioral crises effectively and safely, ensuring the well-being of residents and others in the facility.
- Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications: CBRF training certification is required, along with specific training in medication administration.
- Background Check: Successful completion of background checks as mandated by state regulations.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a personal care or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medication administration and relevant protocols.
- Ability to assist residents with various daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient approach when dealing with residents.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing documentation.
